Important Information about Summer Assignments
IB, MYP and AP courses, in addition to many of our other classes, are academically rigorous and challenging. They will motivate you to explore new ideas and enhance your skills in analysis and critical thinking. We want you to be successful. While participation for most students is voluntary, we strongly encourage IB Diploma Level students to complete the summer assignments by the listed deadlines. We want you to feel prepared for your classes and less pressured during the first weeks of the course so many of these assignments are geared to refresh your memories of content you should know upon arriving back to school on August 31, 2015.
Again, we want you to take this opportunity to get ahead, to read books and explore questions and ideas that you will be studying during the year. Your time spent doing these assignments will be rewarded with a much better understanding of the subject at this advanced level.
Good luck and enjoy the experience!
The 2016 summer assignments for all grades are posted below. Any summer assignments will be added as they become available.
