Virginia College Application Week

Unity Reed High School will participate in 2020 Virginia’s College Application Week November 16 – 20.

What is Virginia College Application Week?

For the past six years, the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia has partnered with the Virginia Secretary’s Office on Education, the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia and national education non-profit ECMC to coordinate Virginia College Application Week (VCAW). They continue to carry on this annual event and continue to work toward increasing the number of students accessing and succeeding in higher education throughout the commonwealth. This academic year’s events will be held during the week of November 16-20, 2020. The purpose of Virginia College Application Week is to provide a structured opportunity and support for under-resourced Virginia high schools to assist seniors in applying to at least one postsecondary institution.

Support Services Available

Unity Reed Students will be able to access Virtual One-on-One Application Admission Appointments with Counselors to review their applications and help them submit their application.  To set up an appointment, email your counselor

Virtual Drop-In Question and Answer Sessions with the College & Career Counselor.  Students will be able to virtually drop in and ask the College & Career Counselor questions on the college application process and the financial aid process. Schedule is as follows
